The school council is an important part of our school and has a great influence on school life. The council is made up of pupils representing each year group, with each class electing a member.

We encourage our pupils to get fully involved with the school council, as it can be a fun way of learning and influencing how the school is run.

The school council meets every fortnight to discuss various issues such as child-friendly school policies and issues raised by children across school. Last year they have been involved in the selection and organisation of charity fundraising events for Rainbows Hospice as well as designing posters to remind parents and visitors to part considerately around our school.
